Survey Spot is a website (Surveyspot.com) that works with marketing companies around the world to find out what consumers think of products, ideas and a variety of other issues. The company promises complete privacy and easy money for filling out surveys taken over the internet in the comfort of your own home. You earn “rewards” based on the surveys that you complete, but more on that later.
Like everyone else on the internet, I want to make money for my time spent surfing. Everyone looking to make some extra cash has tried to sell our old items on Ebay.com and Craigslist.com, but after a while, there just isn’t anything left to sell. It is at that point when people start trying the moneymaking schemes offered up all over the internet. One such moneymaking scheme is Survey Spot.
I stumbled upon Survey Spot while surfing blogs in an attempt to make some cash with little or no effort. The writer that particular blog described making hundred of dollars a month by working mere minutes a day, and never having to get out of bed to do complete the tasks. It sounded great, but being the skeptic that I am, research needed to be done.
I found that Survey Spot was, in fact, a reputable company that paid people for their opinions, although it could take up to eight weeks to receive a one dollar payment. So with nothing to loose, I decided to give it a shot. Here’s what I’ve learned.
It is quite an interesting platform to know more about sales and how to become good a good salesman where people who aspire to be one can surely try it out. You must also read about the 10 Types of Sales Tools that will help you in honing your skills.
First off, Survey Spot does pay, but it can take a while. I have never waited 8 weeks for a payment, but four to six is relatively common. The nice part is, you aren’t getting one dollar at a time. Usually payments range from seven to fifteen dollars a week depending on the amount of time you put in.
Secondly, be ready to have a full mailbox. You can get ten to twenty E-Mails per day soliciting your attention, so making a secondary address is a must. I used Gmail.com to make an account specifically for survey spot. They recognized the account with out any question, and away I went.
Third, be careful which surveys you pick. One surprise I was not expecting (but probably should have) was that some surveys did not offer a cash reward. The “rewards” some surveys offer is only a chance to win money in a lottery. You don’t pay for these chances, but there is no guarantee you will get anything from completing the survey. This is a tip that you will pick up pretty quickly, but you can spend your first few days filling out surveys for basically nothing.
Lastly, and probably most important, keep track of the surveys you take. It is important to take note of the day, time, name, reference number, and reward of each survey you complete to ensure you are receiving your rewards. There are a lot of people taking surveys on Survey Spot, so from time to time, a submission may get lost. Wait the eight weeks, and if your rewards don’t show up, contact the help desk. If you have the information listed, the customer service people will be happy to help.
Survey Spot can be a fun and informative way to earn a little extra pocket change. You wont become a millionaire telling people what you think, but you can easily save a gas tank or two a month if enough time is spent.
